How to compress a video for LINE with AVMint
Open AVMint Compress
Go to AVMint's Compress tool. Nothing installs — it runs in your browser tab.
Drop your video
Drag and drop the video you want to send. AVMint reads it locally; the file never leaves your device.
Pick a target size under 300MB
Choose a target size such as 100MB or 200MB. Smaller targets are kinder on the receiver's mobile data plan.
Download and send via LINE
Click Compress, download the result, and attach it to your LINE chat as you would any other video.
FAQ
What is the actual file size limit on LINE?
LINE allows videos up to 300MB and 5 minutes per send. Anything larger has to be split, uploaded to LINE Keep, or compressed first.
Will the recipient see a quality drop?
If you compress a 1GB clip down to 100MB, there will be some loss, but for phone playback it usually looks fine. Try 200MB first if you want better quality.
Are my videos uploaded anywhere?
No. AVMint runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. You can verify this in your browser's DevTools Network tab — no POST request leaves your device.
